Purists show up, book fans get mad, "they ruined it" becomes the whole conversation. Β But every so often the opposite happens β a movie or show takes a book, a game, a comic, whatever, changes something major, and the result is actually better than what it came from. Not "different but fine." Better. A cut subplot that needed cutting. An ending that got fixed. A character who was flat on the page and became the best part of the screen version. π¬ What's the adaptation you'd defend on this?
