🎬 The Adaptation That Changed Too Much β€” and Improved the Story 🎬

Usually when an adaptation strays from the source material, that's the complaint.

Purists show up, book fans get mad, "they ruined it" becomes the whole conversation.

But every so often the opposite happens β€” a movie or show takes a book, a game, a comic, whatever, changes something major, and the result is actually better than what it came from.

Not "different but fine." Better.

A cut subplot that needed cutting.

An ending that got fixed.

A character who was flat on the page and became the best part of the screen version.
