The Board is in front of your eyes. None of the obvious draws get there. You bet for value, expecting calls from weaker kings, a ten, or a stubborn pocket pair. Then your opponent suddenly shoves all-in. β‘ What can they be representing for value? Sets: 10-10, 7-7, 2-2 or 3-3 Two pair such as K-10 A rare slow-played monster that waited until the river to attack Β The problem is that the board is very dry, so there are not many natural missed draws available as bluffs. For a call to be profitable, your opponent needs to turn a weaker made hand into a bluff or deliberately attack your thin value bet. Β At the same time, folding top pair with a queen kicker on such a harmless river feels extremely tight. Especially against an aggressive player who understands that your line often looks like one pair rather than a monster. What is your move?
